My name is Khaled Hassan, and I have spent nearly two decades helping students develop the language, communication, and academic skills they need to succeed in school, university, and beyond. Over the course of my career, I have worked with a wide range of learners and age-groups, including PYP, MYP, secondary school students, university undergraduates, teachers, graduates, corporate professionals, and even commercial pilots. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how different people learn, the challenges they face, and the strategies that help them achieve their goals. I hold a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of the People and a CELTA qualification from Cambridge Assessment English. I have taught in international schools, universities, language centers, and professional training environments.. My experience includes serving as Acting Head of the American Division at St. Peter’s School, International Baccalaureate (IB) Extended Essay Coordinator at The International School of Elite Education, and Adjunct English Lecturer at Arab Open University. At Elite Test Prep, my focus is not simply helping students pass examinations. I work to help learners become stronger readers, writers, thinkers, and communicators. Whether a student is preparing for the SAT, IELTS, an IB assessment, an IGCSE speaking examination, or university-level academic writing, my goal is to build the skills and confidence necessary for long-term success. Every student begins with different strengths, challenges, and aspirations. For that reason, I believe effective instruction should be personalized rather than standardized. I use diagnostic assessment, structured learning plans, continuous feedback, and targeted practice to help students make measurable progress toward their goals. Beyond examination preparation, I have a particular interest in academic writing, critical thinking, and educational technology. I am also the founder of GradeMyWriting.uk, an educational initiative designed to support learners through structured writing feedback and guided revision. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to one simple belief: students achieve their best results when they are challenged, supported, and given the tools to become independent learners. I look forward to helping your child reach his or her full academic potential.
